My desire to learn how to silk press started in January 2018. After seeing that it was possible to have silky straight hair without using any chemicals, I was eager to learn. My first client was myself, following was my mother, and then a few friends and family members. Fast forward, I have a clientele of over 700+ beautiful individuals!
A Silk Press is a temporary hair straightening service for natural/textured hair (although this technique can be performed on all hair types ) using light weight yet moisturizing products to have a silky outcome!
A Silk Press can last up to 2-4 weeks with proper care but sweating, exposure to humidity, health of hair, lack of protection at night, etc. can all lead to your hair reverting back to its natural state. Keep in mind this is a chemical free service.
Appointments are shared on a monthly basis at a set date and time for both new and returning clients. The date and time will be shared on my booking site in advance. Upon set date and time, click the link provided, scroll down to the very bottom of the booking site to the package options, select one package and you will see all of the available booking times.
